As an independent car service workshop, your Local Repco Authorised Service centre maintains various professional accreditations and affiliations ensuring and maintaining their position at the forefront of technology and industry developments as well as adhering to legislative requirements. These include:

Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA)

The AAAA is the national industry association representing all aspects of the aftermarket, including the service and repair sectors.

Membership of the AAAA provides direction on Government policy and international trends. AAAA Members are also afforded access to important support in the areas of Industrial Relations and Consumer Law.

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association actively advocates on behalf of the vehicle owners right to choose who services their vehicles.

Repco Authorised Service workshops are proud to be members of an organisation which works to protect their customers' interests.

Automotive Repairers Council of Australia (ARCA)

A national service and repair representative group, ARCA membership opens doors to increased automotive knowledge and business expertise.

In addition, the Automotive Repairers Council of Australia works to protect competition in the market and ensure a strong and unified voice to government on behalf of Australia's independent service and repair workshops.

Auto tech

Each Repco Authorised Service workshop is a member of this widely respected automotive industry technical training organisation.

Membership of Auto-Tech provides your local workshop with access to the very latest technical training and diagnostic expertise, giving you peace of mind that your car is in expert hands.Auto-Tech expertly supports Repco Authorised Service Centres with accurate information and professional advice as well as automotive software and training.

Pride Autos & LPG care about the environment and have Arctick Authorisation (AU44766) to reliably and responsibly conduct automotive air conditioning service in and around Launceston. The ARC Tick of approval helps ensure technicians have the skills and knowledge to correctly undertake service and repairs of refrigerated air conditioning to minimise environmental impact.

Automotive affiliations

Pride Autos & LPG - Launceston Tyrepower is accredited with the following professional bodies making it easy for you to trust in our staff and the services we are able to offer. As an approved Transport Inspection Station, Pride Autos & LPG are certified vehicle examiners. As an accredited Tasmanian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (TACC) member, Pride Autos & LPG provide Roadside Help Program. We are also an approved repairer of the Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania (RACT).

TACC, RACT and Repco Authorised Service are each a part of one of Australia's largest service networks and are diligently promoted to the community as qualified professionals who deliver quality repairs and servicing. We have undertaken and completed their accreditation programs, agreed to undergo compliance audits to ensure strict standards for our premises, equipment and our insurance levels are all maintained - ultimately allowing us to deliver a more professional level of service to our customers. This includes the provision of a warranty and use of quality parts, to abide by a consumer complaint program managed by the TACC group and endorsed by the Department of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading.

As part of our Repco Auto Tech affiliation, our employees attend ongoing training courses to ensure they are kept up to date with the latest of technology. We have access to current data required to service your modern motor vehicles. Our workshop is well equipped with modern engine and gas analysers and onboard diagnostic equipment which allows us to communicate with your cars computer system. We provide quality workmanship on all makes and models, from your old faithful, right through to the latest state-of-the-art vehicles, including commercial Fleet vehicles.
